The Icon Awards consists of two competitions: An online digital competition (entries are now closed) and an in-person print competition (with physical prints) at the WPPI convention in Las Vegas in March 2024.
The Icon International Photography Awards continues WPPI's legacy as the world's most prestigious wedding and portrait photography competition. The Icon Awards will match your former WPPI Honors of Excellence designation and accreditation points.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
You must first enter the digital competition for a chance to enter the annual in-person print competition at the WPPI convention. This is a different procedure to previous years. We will send invitations to the top 10 finalists in each category to enter the in-person print competition to be held at the WPPI convention in 2024. You will not receive an invitation if you haven't entered the digital competition.

Your entry will be anonymously scored by 5 experienced judges and eligible to receive a silver, silver distinction, gold, gold distinction, or platinum award.
Your top 4 scoring entries will contribute to your Icon Honors of Excellence designation and accreditation points.
Critiques may be purchased as an add-on for just $15 per entry.
Each category's top ten scoring entries will be invited to enter the Icon International Print of the Year Awards. There is a flat rate of $50 per entry to participate in the annual print awards.
The print judging will be an in-person event at the WPPI convention and we will also broadcast it live online on March 3 and 4.
Awarded prints will be displayed in a gallery on the WPPI tradeshow floor on March 5-7, 2024.
A selection of images that score 79 or below in the online competition will be anonymously critiqued at the Icon Awards booth on the WPPI tradeshow floor and we will also broadcast it live online.
